November Nouveau, Round 5: Declutter!

Declutter
a philosophy

Just as I did with Unspend a few days ago, I edited and reworked this little site as well! (The decluttering advice is better and so is the formatting, thank God, LOL)

(By the way, have I ever told y’all how much I love Google Fonts? Because I really do. They make my life easier and thus I can be the lazy efficient designer and developer that I want to be. ♥

November Nouveau, Round 3: Gifted!

Gifted
an unusual site for Elsa from Frozen

YAY! After almost two years, I have finally gone back and polished up this site!

Changelog:

  • Google Fonts, Google Fonts EVERYWHERE
  • Intra-site navigation at the bottom of every content page
  • New 200 x 40 button
  • Complete content review/revision
  • Better content formatting (no more long-winded lists!!!!!!!)

Check it out and see what you think! 😀

November Nouveau, Round 2: Good Ol’ Ev!

Hooray! Another November Nouveau, because apparently all my productivity has come back in droves!

Today, I bring you a small revamp:

Good Ol’ Ev!
a fansite for Evinrude from The Rescuers

This little site didn’t need any work on its content, so I was able to just shine up and polish the design. Now armed with Google Fonts, better color selections, and some formatting changes, this site hopefully reads and looks much better! 😀

November Nouveau, Round 1: Inexhaustible Peace!

Thanks to a random surge of energy, I completed the first of hopefully many “November Nouveau” edits here at WMWorg just a few minutes ago! Here’s what I did:

Inexhaustible Peace
a site for Helen Burns from Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre

This little site was one of the first fansites I built when I got into the Amassment community, and while I felt it was already a good site, I did have a couple things I wanted to tidy up. Those “couple of things” ended up being a lot more in-depth than I thought (LOL), but the site is SO much better off because of it. Check it out and see what you think!!

A Look Back and a Look Forward

Whew, it’s November already! I still have a couple of projects in the hopper for 2016, but here’s what I’ve accomplished this year so far:

Wow, I didn’t think I’d accomplished QUITE that much this year, but it’s been a busy 10 months at WMWorg! March was my most productive month, though–weird!

Looking ahead, this is what I plan for November and December:

Whew, looks like a lot of work (and it probably will be, not going to lie), but I’m excited about it too–I’m not going to actively build any new sites or do any huge revamps in November, so I’m going to be able to do more little tasks around the domain. Check back for updates!

Random Puttering, As Usual

In the days since the release of Version 15, I’ve gone back and edited a few things here and there, such as:

Ahead for WithinMyWorld.Org during this summer (time permitting):

  • Finish my in-progress Eighth Doctor site for the Construction Zone event at Amassment
  • Revamp and rename my faith site (it will likely be relocated to a new subfolder as well)

Stay tuned right here or at @wmworg for the upcoming changes!

Version 15 Is Live!

HOORAY!!! After months of puttering around behind the scenes, Version 15: Passionate Light is ready to view and explore!

Here’s some of the new sights to see:

Let me know what you think about version 15 in the comments or the guestbook! I’m really happy with it so far! (And as always, if something is displaying strangely on your machine, it’s a good bet that I have no idea it’s happening!! Currently v15 has been tested in the Windows versions of IE, Firefox, and Chrome.)
