New Friend Link and behind-the-scenes work!

The Nostalgia Project has its first link! Ainna of Northstar.nu emailed me a few days ago and let me know that my site had inspired her to finish her own nostalgic project about the late 90s web clique Scented Angels–her lovely tribute is called Scented, and so I’ve linked to it there to join in the memory fun! (I’ve also linked Ainna’s main domain on my Links page, under “friends”–check her site out when you get a chance!

Also, I’m currently doing background work on both Tomorrow’s Calling and The Gamer’s Repose. Both sites will receive edits to their articles, pictures, and layouts as I get time–no changes are up yet, but I hope to have some things uploaded soon. (I am superbly lazy and spend a lot of time messing around on my tablet at home, XD, but I am getting things done slowly but surely!)

Preparing Sites for Updates!

I’ve been doing quite a bit of work behind the scenes getting Skies Over Atlas and The Gamer’s Repose ready for updating. I’ve developed new layouts for both of them, and will launch them along with the new/improved content.

The Gamer’s Repose in particular will see heavy content editing, with some articles removed and others combined…I’m actually not sure how much will be jettisoned yet, but I do know I want the site to focus more on creative gaming than actually teaching about the games themselves. (On the other hand, I spent a lot of time writing these articles and am having a hard time deleting them…LOL, hoarder mentality strikes again!)

However, Skies Over Atlas will be getting mainly a facelift and a new content section on the SaveCoH movement…the new layout looks AWESOME, if I do say so myself. Plus, it’ll be nice to have a chance to comb back through the content and add/edit as I see fit!

Really excited about these updates–they have been delayed two years too long! Keep checking back here at WMWorg to see progress!

Tidying at The Gamer’s Repose

With the help of my awesome boyfriend, I have been fixing up the HeroClix powers and abilities page on The Gamer’s Repose to reflect recent rulings changes. Check it out here: Colors on the Dial and Their Meanings

More tidying is to come, as I seek to keep the site updated. I think there are still a few more things to check on, but that will be for tomorrow. Now, I sleep. …Maybe. If I don’t get caught up in my book again and read ’til 4:00 am. LOL

Uber-update at The Gamer’s Repose

Finally finished all the work I wanted to do over at The Gamer’s Repose.  Here’s a brief rundown:

  • Took off expansion/set lists for Magic and HeroClix–couldn’t keep ’em updated fast enough, and there were other sites that did it better
  • Created a sitemap
  • Edited Team Abilities article to reflect all the new team abilities in HeroClix

Hooray!  Only been trying to get up the energy to do this for four months… XD

Now, on to Skies Over Atlas.  Mwahaha.  🙂
