A Look Back and a Look Forward

Whew, it’s November already! I still have a couple of projects in the hopper for 2016, but here’s what I’ve accomplished this year so far:

Wow, I didn’t think I’d accomplished QUITE that much this year, but it’s been a busy 10 months at WMWorg! March was my most productive month, though–weird!

Looking ahead, this is what I plan for November and December:

Whew, looks like a lot of work (and it probably will be, not going to lie), but I’m excited about it too–I’m not going to actively build any new sites or do any huge revamps in November, so I’m going to be able to do more little tasks around the domain. Check back for updates!

Random Puttering, As Usual

In the days since the release of Version 15, I’ve gone back and edited a few things here and there, such as:

Ahead for WithinMyWorld.Org during this summer (time permitting):

  • Finish my in-progress Eighth Doctor site for the Construction Zone event at Amassment
  • Revamp and rename my faith site (it will likely be relocated to a new subfolder as well)

Stay tuned right here or at @wmworg for the upcoming changes!

Version 15 Is Live!

HOORAY!!! After months of puttering around behind the scenes, Version 15: Passionate Light is ready to view and explore!

Here’s some of the new sights to see:

Let me know what you think about version 15 in the comments or the guestbook! I’m really happy with it so far! (And as always, if something is displaying strangely on your machine, it’s a good bet that I have no idea it’s happening!! Currently v15 has been tested in the Windows versions of IE, Firefox, and Chrome.)

Updates All Around

Been puttering around the domain while aggressively procrastinating on cleaning my house! Here’s a list of what’s been updated:

Be sure to check all these out, and also keep an eye out for new sites coming in 2016! (Also, exclamation points are awesome!! LOL)

Fixed Up Links Page

I did a major sweep on my links page, adding, updating, and deleting links until everything is current and useful again. Plus, I put up a “Featured Sections” part on the main page so it doesn’t look so empty. 😀

Check it out, especially the Domains/Networks–I added sites from all the lovely people at Amassment.org. Give them a visit–they work just as hard as I do on their sites, if not harder!

Whole Lotta Tidyin’ Goin’ On

Now that version 14 is finally (FINALLY) live, I’ve been able to putter around fixing up how certain pages appear within the confines of this new layout. Mostly I’ve fixed design bugs and changed information formatting, like on the following pages:

I’ve also improved the design on this news blog for better readability–greater separation between posts, a solid color behind the posts (finally figured out how to do it without messing up the rest of the layout), and some extra padding and font enlarging both in the posts and comments sections. YAY!

Sitemap Fixed

In puttering around the site, I realized my sitemap was in BAD need of updating–thus, it is now tidied up! Woot for finally getting around to a random project that’s been probably out of date for about a year. (Snow days make for excellent web productivity days, especially when you’re aggressively avoiding other work)
